Phlebotomy Training Beads - Because the order of draw matters!
This is a dangle I created to promote patient safety by helping you draw blood in the correct tube order. Drawing in an incorrect order could end in inaccurate results.

Great tool to promote patient safety.
I created this dangle to put on an ID badge to help draw blood
in the correct tube order. The order of tubes in which blood needs to be drawn
is very important. Drawing in
an incorrect order could end in inaccurate results because of clotting
activators. The bigger beads represent the bottles for blood cultures. The order of
the beads can be customized to the requirements of your hospital.

"Your phlebotobeads were received with applause! I showed them to my current group of "in training" phlebotomists and they loved them. Some of their responses were: -excellent tool -flexibility with color of beads -small -easy to use on badge -instant reminder of tube order , good for newbies I feel this is an excellent resource for new and old alike for an instant reminder of tube order. It takes time to look through notes in your pocket or call down to the lab for an answer about tube order, when the beads sit right there on your badge." Janet R.
